Joseph And The Coat Of Many Colors

Genesis 37: 23-28




The picture depicts Joseph on the right bottom where his brothers had thrown him in a pit. The coat of many colors is surrounded by ten of Joseph’s brothers. His eleventh brother, Benjamin was back home with his father Jacob. The brothers sold Joseph for twenty pieces of silver to the Ishmaelite traders who took Joseph to Egypt. The original sketch for this print was made in 1990.

It comes hand-mounted in our studio by Marvi, in an 11 in. x 14 in. acid free white Bainbridge® mat on an 11 in. x 14 in. foam core backing board. The window opening on the mat is 7.5 in. x 9.5 in.
